# Privacy Policy — Pulse / Wellness OS / WOS: AI Health Coach

Effective Date: May 29, 2026
Last Updated: July 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application published as **Pulse** (also known as **Wellness OS**) on the Apple App Store, and as **WOS: AI Health Coach** on Google Play (package name: com.d73.stillalive) — together referred to as "the App."

The App is developed and published by **Blockrevert** ("we," "our," "us"). The App is a personal wellness companion that helps you reflect on and track six everyday areas — sleep, mind, fitness, nutrition, hydration, and fasting — and provides AI-powered coaching, insights, reminders, and an optional live voice call with an AI coach, based on the information you choose to share.

BY USING THE APP, YOU AGREE TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE APP.

## 1. What This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy explains: (a) what information we collect, (b) how we use it, (c) what we share, (d) how we secure it, and (e) the choices you have. It applies to both the iOS and Android versions of the App. Where a practice applies to only one platform, this is clearly stated (see Section 2.5).

## 1.5 Important Health Disclaimer

⚠️ THE APP IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE OR HEALTHCARE PROVIDER

The App is a personal reflection and wellness companion for general awareness only. It is NOT:

❌ Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
❌ A substitute for professional medical care
❌ A health monitoring or diagnostic device
❌ Intended to detect, prevent, treat, or cure any medical condition
❌ A clinical interpretation of Apple Health data (heart rate, HRV, blood glucose, sleep stages, or any other metric)

The App provides personalized coaching messages, insights, reminders, chat responses, and spoken responses during a voice call that are generated by artificial intelligence based on the information you provide and, if you choose (iOS only), data read from Apple Health. These outputs are for informational and motivational purposes only and are NOT medical recommendations.

If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency:

- Call your local emergency services (911 in the US)
- Contact a mental health crisis line
- Seek immediate professional help

Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical concerns. Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of anything in the App.

## 2. Core Privacy Commitments

The App is built with privacy-first defaults:

✅ No selling or sharing of personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising
✅ No in-app advertisements on iOS. The Android version shows ads through Google AdMob, but we do not build advertising profiles about you or track you across other companies' apps or websites on either platform
✅ No precise location requirement (the App does not require GPS to function)
✅ No contacts access (the App does not read your address book)
✅ Most voice logging is processed entirely on your device — audio is not uploaded. Three features do send audio off-device for the request only: the two longer-form voice intakes (sleep "describe your night" and goal-planning) use our transcription provider (Deepgram), and the optional live voice call streams audio to our AI provider (OpenAI) in real time. In all cases the audio is not retained on our servers afterward — see Sections 3.8 and 8
✅ Sleep sound sensing (optional) listens for snoring and room noise during a sleep session; it is analyzed on your device, and short snore clips are saved only on your device and never uploaded — see Section 3.12
✅ Apple Health (HealthKit) integration is optional and iOS-only — the App functions fully without it, and you may revoke it at any time in iOS Settings. The Android version does not connect to any health platform (see Section 2.5)
✅ Apple Health data we receive is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared with data brokers — see Section 8.9
✅ Limited third-party analytics (anonymized usage data only — no Apple Health values are sent to analytics)
✅ Optional notifications (push reminders require your permission on both iOS and Android)
✅ Payments handled by Apple (iOS) or Google Play (Android) — we do not store your full card details
✅ Ad attribution uses only anonymous signals — we measure whether our own ads lead to app installs, not to build profiles or track you across other apps

## 2.5 Platform Differences (iOS and Android)

The App is available on both iOS (Apple App Store) and Android (Google Play). Most data practices in this Policy apply to both platforms. The following differ by platform:

**In-app advertisements**

- On iOS, the App shows **no in-app advertisements**.
- On Android, the App shows ads through **Google AdMob** (for example, banner and rewarded ads), which can be used to earn in-app credits. These ads are served by Google; see Section 8.10. On both platforms we still measure whether our own acquisition ads led to installs (ad attribution), which is different from showing ads inside the App — see Sections 5.6 and 7.

**Payments and subscriptions**

- On iOS, payments and subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store.
- On Android, payments and subscriptions are processed by Google Play Billing.
- On both platforms, we never receive or store your full payment card details. Subscription verification on both platforms is handled by RevenueCat (Section 8.2). Manage or cancel: iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or Google Play app → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

**Health platform data**

- On iOS, the App can optionally read from and write to Apple Health (HealthKit), as described in Sections 3.10 and 8.9. Apple Health exists only on iOS.
- On Android, the App does **not** connect to Health Connect, Google Fit, or any other health platform. All wellness data in the Android version comes only from what you log manually in the App.
- All references to Apple Health in this Policy apply to the iOS version only.

**Advertising identifiers**

- On iOS, we collect the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) only if you grant permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt — see Section 7.3.
- On Android, ad-campaign measurement and AdMob may use the Google Advertising ID (GAID/AAID). You can reset or delete your Advertising ID at any time in Android Settings → Google → Ads (on Android 12 and later, deleting it removes the identifier entirely).

**Notifications**

- On iOS, reminders require notification permission via the iOS prompt.
- On Android 13 and later, reminders require the notifications runtime permission, which you can change at any time in Android Settings → Apps → WOS: AI Health Coach → Notifications.

All other features described in this Policy — including AI coaching and chat, the live voice call, voice logging (on-device, Deepgram, and OpenAI), meal and label photo processing, analytics, subscription management, and advertising attribution — work the same way on both platforms, except for the in-app-advertising and health-platform differences noted above.

## 3. Information We Collect

### 3.1 Profile Information You Provide

During onboarding and personalization, you may provide:

- First name or display name (optional)
- Age or age range
- Gender
- Height and weight (used only to personalize coaching targets)
- Wake time, bedtime, activity level
- Chronotype, fasting protocol, training level, equipment access
- Preferences such as dietary style, allergies, and topics you want help with
- A free-text or voice-recorded goal statement (used to generate a personalized 7-day plan)

This information is used solely to personalize your coaches and recommendations.

### 3.2 Wellness Logs and User Content

When you use the App, you may log:

- Sleep entries (bedtime, wake time, quality, disruptors)
- Mood, emotion, anxiety level, and trigger check-ins
- Meal entries (food name, calories, macros, optional photo)
- Workouts (exercises, sets, reps, weight, RPE, notes)
- Water intake (volume, beverage type)
- Fasting windows (start, end, duration, stage)
- Free-text notes and chat messages with your AI coaches
- Transcripts and summaries of your live voice calls with the AI coach (see Section 3.8)

These are stored on your device and on our servers so the App can show your history, calculate scores, and personalize your coaching.

### 3.3 Identifiers

- **Device ID:** A unique identifier from your device (used for authentication, account identification, and data sync without requiring a traditional username/password login)
- **User ID:** Your account identifier tied to your device, display name, and app data
- **Advertising Identifier (iOS — IDFA):** Only collected if you grant permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. Used solely to measure whether our own ads led to an install or trial start. If you deny ATT permission, your IDFA is never collected.
- **Advertising Identifier (Android — Google Advertising ID):** May be used by our advertising-attribution SDKs (Meta, Firebase) and by Google AdMob (Android only) to measure whether our own ads led to an install or trial start and to serve in-app ads. You can reset or delete it at any time in Android Settings → Google → Ads.

### 3.4 Usage Data (Product Interaction)

To operate the core features and improve the App, we collect:

- Coach log events and timestamps (when you log sleep, meals, workouts, etc.)
- Streak counts and last-log times per coach
- Reminder and frequency settings
- Feature usage patterns (which features you use and how often)
- App interaction data (launches, navigation, settings changes)
- Voice-call events (that a call started/ended, duration, and coach used — not the raw audio)
- Anonymized analytics (feature interactions, screen views, button clicks)
- Anonymized conversion events (trial started, subscription started) for advertising attribution — see Sections 8.6 and 8.7
- On Android only: ad interaction events associated with in-app AdMob ads and rewarded-credit views — see Section 8.10

### 3.5 Technical and Diagnostic Data

- Crash logs and error reports (to maintain app stability and fix bugs)
- Device model and operating system version — iOS or Android (to ensure compatibility)
- App version, locale, time zone
- Anonymized usage analytics via Mixpanel (feature interactions, screen views, app performance metrics)

### 3.6 Purchase and Subscription Data

- If you purchase a premium subscription, your payment is processed entirely by the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android)
- We do not store your full payment details
- Premium is available as a weekly, monthly, or yearly subscription, and may include a free trial
- After any trial ends, your subscription renews automatically through Apple or Google Play unless cancelled
- Subscription management (purchase verification, trial tracking, renewal status) is handled by RevenueCat on our behalf. RevenueCat receives anonymized subscription event data (e.g., subscription started, trial converted, subscription expired) tied to a RevenueCat-generated user identifier. No payment card details are shared with RevenueCat.
- The App stores subscription state locally and on our servers to unlock premium features on your device

### 3.7 Push Notification Permission Status

- If you enable reminders, your operating system (iOS or Android) will ask for notification permission
- The App checks whether permission is enabled to schedule coach reminders and timely nudges

### 3.8 Voice (Optional Features)

The App offers three kinds of voice interaction. All are optional, and you can use the App without any of them.

- **On-device voice logging.** For most voice logging (quick meal voice log, fitness set logging, mind/water/fasting quick check-ins), speech is transcribed entirely on your device using on-device models. Audio is not uploaded, and only the transcribed text becomes part of your log.
- **Longer-form voice intakes (Deepgram).** For the sleep "describe your night" flow and the goal-planning voice intake, your audio recording is sent to our transcription provider (Deepgram) for a single transcription request. The audio is not retained on our servers after transcription, and only the resulting text is stored with your log.
- **Live voice call with the AI coach (OpenAI).** If you start a voice call, the App opens a real-time audio connection and streams your microphone audio to our AI provider, **OpenAI** (OpenAI Realtime API), so the coach can understand you and stream a spoken response back. A short-lived, single-session access key is issued by our server for each call. We do not retain the raw call audio on our servers; we store a text transcript and/or summary of the conversation with your account so the coach has continuity across sessions (see Section 3.2). Coaching actions triggered during a call are processed on our servers.

Voice features work the same way on iOS and Android.

### 3.9 Photos (Optional Feature)

- When you photograph a meal, a nutrition label, or a water container, the image is processed by AI to extract food, macros, or volume
- The photo is sent only to our AI vision provider (OpenAI or Google Gemini) for that single request
- Photos are not retained on our servers after processing unless you choose to save them with the log

### 3.10 Apple Health (HealthKit) Integration (Optional — iOS Only)

Apple Health integration is available only in the iOS version of the App and is optional. The App will ask you once (during onboarding, or later in Settings) whether to grant access. The App functions fully without it. The Android version does not connect to Health Connect, Google Fit, or any other health platform, and nothing in this Section 3.10 applies to Android.

If you grant access on iOS, the App may read the following categories of data from Apple Health:

- **Body:** weight (body mass), body fat percentage, height
- **Cardiovascular:** heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), respiratory rate
- **Activity:** steps, active energy burned, VO₂ max, exercise minutes, stand hours
- **Workouts:** workout type, duration, energy burned, distance
- **Sleep:** sleep analysis, including stages (awake, core, deep, REM)
- **Mindfulness:** mindful session minutes
- **Nutrition:** dietary energy, protein, carbohydrates, fat, water
- **Metabolic:** blood glucose

If you separately enable write-back, the App may write your manual logs back to Apple Health for the following categories: water, dietary energy, protein, carbohydrates, fat, mindful sessions, and weight. Write-back is off by default.

To keep your scores and AI coaching current without requiring you to open the App, we request permission to receive background updates from Apple Health so that new data added by your watch, smart scale, ring, or other connected devices can flow in automatically.

We upload daily summaries of the Apple Health categories you have granted to our servers, stored under your Device ID in your private user space. We do this so we can compute scores, surface insights, and generate AI coaching that reflects your real activity. You may revoke any data category at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Wellness OS, and you may request deletion of Apple Health data stored on our servers using the in-app delete control or by contacting us (see Section 12).

Our specific commitments regarding Apple Health data are described in Section 8.9.

### 3.11 Derived Data

To power coaching and insights, we compute and store on our servers:

- Per-coach scores and a cross-coach Wellness Score
- Cross-coach correlations (for example, patterns linking sleep and mood) computed from your logs and, on iOS, if granted, Apple Health summaries
- Weekly "Pulse" letter summaries
- Day-1 "Starter Insights" computed once from your first profile and (on iOS, if granted) initial Apple Health backfill
- A personalized 7-day plan derived from your goal statement and profile

These derived items are stored under your Device ID and used only to power the App for you.

### 3.12 Sleep Sound Sensing (Optional)

If you start a sleep session with sound sensing enabled, the App uses your device's microphone to listen for snoring and room noise while you sleep.

- The audio is analyzed **on your device in real time**; we keep aggregate figures such as snore minutes and noise levels as part of your sleep log.
- The App may save a small number of **short snore clips on your device only**, so you can listen back in the morning. These clips **stay on your device, are never uploaded to our servers, are never sold**, and are automatically deleted after a few days.
- Sound sensing runs only during an active sleep session and only if you enable it. You can use sleep tracking without it.

## 4. Information We Do NOT Collect

The App does not require or collect:

❌ Precise location (GPS / geolocation)
❌ Access to your contacts or address book
❌ Advertising identifiers for cross-app tracking or third-party ad profiling
❌ Biometric data (Face ID / Touch ID on iOS and fingerprint/face unlock on Android are handled by your operating system for device unlock only and are never transmitted to us)
❌ Financial information (handled by Apple or Google Play)
❌ Browsing history or search history outside the App
❌ Raw audio from on-device voice logging or from sleep sound sensing (processed on-device only; the sleep snore clips stay on your device — see Sections 3.8 and 3.12). The two longer-form voice intakes briefly send audio to Deepgram, and the live voice call streams audio to OpenAI for the call only; in both cases the audio is not retained on our servers
❌ On Android: any data from Health Connect, Google Fit, or other health platforms (the Android version has no health platform integration)

**Note on Apple Health (iOS only):** With your explicit permission, we read selected health and fitness categories from Apple Health as described in Section 3.10. Without your permission, we collect no Apple Health data.

**Note on advertising:** We do not use your personal in-app data to build advertising profiles or to target you across other companies' apps. On iOS there are no in-app ads; we collect the IDFA only if you grant ATT permission, and use it only to measure our own campaigns. On Android, Google AdMob serves in-app ads and may use the Google Advertising ID (Section 8.10), and we use that identifier only for measuring our own campaigns and serving those ads — not for third-party ad networks or profiling.

## 5. How We Use Information

### 5.1 Provide Core Functionality

- Authenticate you using your Device ID (no password required)
- Show your six wellness coaches (sleep, mind, fitness, nutrition, hydration, fasting) and the data you've logged for each
- Calculate and display your Wellness Score, coach scores, streaks, and trends
- Surface cross-coach insights (for example, patterns linking sleep and mood)
- Personalize coaching messages, reminders, and suggested actions based on your inputs and goals
- Power the optional live voice call with your AI coach, including understanding your speech and generating a spoken response in real time (see Sections 3.8 and 8.4)
- On iOS, if you have granted Apple Health access, automatically include data read from Apple Health (such as last night's sleep, today's steps, recent workouts, HRV, weight changes, water totals, and blood glucose) in your tracking surfaces, scores, and coaching, so you don't have to re-log what other devices and apps already track
- Display summary scores and ongoing sessions (such as a fasting timer) on your Home and Lock Screens via widgets (and, on iOS, Live Activities). Widgets show only aggregated summaries — no raw Apple Health values

### 5.2 AI-Generated Coaching, Insights, Chat, and Voice Calls

- Generate personalized coaching messages, daily actions, weekly summaries, chat responses, and live voice-call responses based on your profile and recent logs
- On iOS, if you have granted Apple Health access, also include short summaries of your recent Apple Health data (for example, last night's sleep duration and efficiency, today's steps, recent HRV, today's water total, and most recent blood glucose) in the prompt sent to the AI provider for a single request
- See Section 8 for the AI providers involved and what is shared with them
- AI outputs are informational only and never replace professional advice

### 5.3 Notifications and Reminders

- Send local push reminders (only if you grant notification permission on your platform)
- Send proactive coach nudges based on your activity patterns and the settings you choose
- Support in-app and email alert preferences (as toggled in Settings)

### 5.4 Premium Subscriptions

- Verify and manage your premium subscription via Apple (iOS) or Google Play (Android) and RevenueCat
- Unlock premium features for active subscribers
- Manage trial periods, subscription renewals, and expiration
- Sync subscription state between the app store, RevenueCat, and our servers to ensure uninterrupted access

### 5.5 Analytics and App Improvement

We analyze usage patterns to:

- Understand how the App is used
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing features
- Plan and develop new features
- Measure app stability, performance, and reliability
- Identify and fix bugs and technical issues
- Improve user experience and interface design

**Important:** Analytics data is anonymized and used internally. We use Mixpanel for product analytics, but no personally identifiable information (names, emails), no wellness log values, no voice-call content, and no Apple Health values are sent to Mixpanel — only interaction counts and event names.

### 5.6 Advertising and Attribution

**In-app ads (Android only).** The Android version shows ads through Google AdMob, including rewarded ads you can watch to earn in-app credits. The iOS version shows no in-app ads. See Section 8.10.

**Ad attribution (both platforms).** We run acquisition ads on Meta (Facebook / Instagram) and Google to help people discover the App. To measure whether our ads are working, we:

- Report anonymous conversion events (trial started, subscription started) to Meta and Google
- On iOS, use Apple's SKAdNetwork framework for privacy-safe attribution — this always sends anonymous signals to ad platforms regardless of your ATT choice, and contains no personal data
- On iOS, if you grant ATT permission: your IDFA may be shared with Meta and Google to more accurately measure our ad campaigns. If you deny ATT permission: only anonymous SKAdNetwork signals are used — no personal identifiers are shared
- On Android, your Google Advertising ID may be used by Meta and Firebase for the same purpose; you can reset or delete it in Android Settings → Google → Ads

We do NOT use this data to build advertising profiles, retarget you across other apps, or sell your data to ad networks. No Apple Health data is ever sent to advertising or attribution services.

### 5.7 Safety, Security, and Fraud Prevention

- Prevent abuse and fraudulent use of the App
- Ensure data security and system integrity
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide customer support
- Comply with legal obligations

## 6. How Data is Linked to You

Most data collected by the App is linked to your user identity via:

- Your Device ID (primary identifier)
- Your User ID and display name

Apple Health data we receive (iOS only) is stored under your Device ID in your private user space and is linked only to you for the purpose of running the App. Voice-call transcripts and summaries are likewise stored under your Device ID.

**Exception:** Mixpanel analytics data is anonymized and not directly linked to your personal identity. Advertising attribution data is either anonymous (SKAdNetwork on iOS) or linked only to your advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Google Advertising ID on Android), not to your in-app account.

We do not anonymize core app data (your wellness logs, profile, coach chats, voice-call transcripts, and on iOS, Apple Health summaries) because it is essential for the App to function (for example, to show YOUR Wellness Score, YOUR streaks, and YOUR personalized coaching).

## 7. Tracking and Advertising

### 7.1 What We Do

**In-app advertising (Android only).** The Android version displays ads via Google AdMob (Section 8.10). The iOS version displays no in-app ads.

**Acquisition-ad attribution (both platforms).** We run advertising campaigns on Meta (Facebook / Instagram) and Google Ads to help people discover the App. To measure whether these campaigns result in installs and trial starts, we use:

- **Apple SKAdNetwork (iOS):** Apple's privacy-preserving attribution framework. Anonymous signals are always sent to ad platforms when conversions happen — this contains no personal data and happens regardless of your ATT permission choice. This is required by Apple's framework.
- **Meta (Facebook) SDK (iOS and Android):** Reports anonymous conversion events. On iOS, if you grant ATT permission, your IDFA may be included to improve attribution accuracy; if you deny, only aggregated / modeled data is used. On Android, the Google Advertising ID may be used unless you delete or reset it in Android Settings.
- **Firebase Analytics (Google) (iOS and Android):** Reports anonymous app events for Google Ads attribution. Subject to Google's privacy policy.

### 7.2 What We Do NOT Do

❌ We do NOT link your data with third-party data for advertising profiling
❌ We do NOT share data with data brokers
❌ We do NOT use your in-app data for third-party advertising networks
❌ We do NOT run retargeting campaigns based on your in-app behavior
❌ We do NOT track you across other companies' apps or websites
❌ We do NOT share Apple Health data, voice-call content, or wellness logs with Meta, Google Ads, Firebase Analytics, Google AdMob, or any other advertising or attribution provider

### 7.3 Your Tracking Choices

**iOS (App Tracking Transparency):** On iOS 14 and later, the App presents Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt asking if you want to allow tracking (for example, when you first open the App or the first time ad measurement is relevant). You can:

- **Allow:** Your IDFA is used to measure our ads more accurately
- **Don't Allow:** Only anonymous SKAdNetwork signals are used — your IDFA is never collected

You can change this choice at any time: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

**Android (Advertising ID):** You can reset your Google Advertising ID, or delete it entirely (Android 12 and later), at any time: Android Settings → Google → Ads. If deleted, apps including ours cannot access it.

- **Note:** Most voice features in the App transcribe entirely on-device and do not use Deepgram. Deepgram is invoked only when you use the two longer-form features described above. The live voice call uses OpenAI (Section 8.4), not Deepgram.

### 8.9 Apple Health (HealthKit) — Specific Commitments (iOS Only)

Apple's HealthKit framework requires apps that read Apple Health data to follow strict, narrow rules. This section applies to the iOS version of the App only; the Android version does not access any health platform data. In addition to the general commitments elsewhere in this Policy, we specifically commit that:

- We will not use any data read from Apple Health for advertising, marketing, or similar services
- We will not sell, rent, or otherwise commercialize any data read from Apple Health, nor disclose it to data brokers
- We will not disclose any data read from Apple Health to third parties without your explicit permission, except as required to provide a feature you have requested (for example, generating coaching by sending a short summary to an AI provider as described in Sections 8.4–8.6) or as required by law
- We will not use any data read from Apple Health for any purpose other than providing health and wellness features within the App
- Apple Health data is never shared with advertising, attribution, analytics, or in-app-ad providers (including Meta, Google Ads, Firebase Analytics, and Google AdMob)
- Apple Health data we receive is stored under your Device ID on Google Cloud / Firebase servers we operate, and is never combined with advertising or attribution data
- You may revoke any Apple Health permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Wellness OS, and the App will continue to function (without those signals)
- You may request deletion of all Apple Health data stored on our servers at any time using the in-app delete control or by contacting us (see Section 12)

### 8.10 Google AdMob (Android Only)

- **Purpose:** Serve in-app advertisements (including banner and rewarded ads that can earn in-app credits) in the Android version of the App. The iOS version shows no in-app ads.
- **Data Shared:** Google AdMob may process your Google Advertising ID, coarse ad-request signals, and ad-interaction events to serve and measure ads. This is handled by Google as the ad provider.
- **Data NOT Shared:** Your name, wellness logs, AI chat content, voice-call content, or Apple Health data

- **Control:** Reset or delete your Google Advertising ID at any time in Android Settings → Google → Ads. We do not use AdMob to build advertising profiles or track you across other companies' apps.

## 9. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information.

We may share information only as needed to operate the App:

### 9.1 With Service Providers

- We use vendors for hosting, server infrastructure, analytics (Mixpanel), subscription management (RevenueCat), AI-powered features and the live voice call (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google), voice transcription for longer-form voice features (Deepgram), advertising attribution (Meta, Google Firebase), and in-app advertising on Android (Google AdMob)
- These vendors process data only on our instructions and are contractually required to protect your data
- They cannot use your data for their own purposes (except as permitted by their privacy policies for service operation)
- Apple Health data (iOS only) is shared only with AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) as short summaries used to generate your coaching, as described in Sections 8.4–8.6, and never with analytics, attribution, subscription-management, or in-app-ad providers

### 9.2 For Legal Reasons

We may disclose information if required by law or to:

- Comply with legal obligations, court orders, or government requests
- Protect rights, safety, and security of the App, our users, or the public
- Prevent fraud, abuse, or illegal activity
- Enforce our Terms of Use

### 9.3 Business Transfers

If the App is acquired, merged, or undergoes a business transition, your information may be transferred to the successor entity. Apple Health data will remain subject to the commitments in Section 8.9 in any such transfer.

## 10. Data Storage & Security

### 10.1 On-Device Storage

Some information is stored locally on your device:

- Cached profile data and recent logs (for offline access and fast load)
- Cached Apple Health summaries (iOS only — for offline access to your scores)
- Sleep snore clips (stored only on your device; auto-deleted after a few days — see Section 3.12)
- Notification preferences and onboarding state
- Premium subscription status (local flag)
- Summary data shared with widgets (and, on iOS, Live Activities) via a secure app group (no raw Apple Health values)
- Locally saved settings and app state

### 10.2 Server-Side Processing

Some information is processed on our servers (hosted on Google Cloud / Firebase):

- Device ID and User ID
- Profile (name, age, gender, height, weight, preferences, chronotype, fasting protocol, training level, goal statement)
- Wellness logs across the six coaches
- Apple Health summaries you have granted (iOS only — stored under your Device ID in your private user space)
- AI chat history and generated insights
- Voice-call transcripts and summaries (not the raw call audio)
- Cross-coach correlations and derived scores
- Subscription state (synced from RevenueCat and the app store)
- Usage and interaction data

### 10.3 Security Measures

We use industry-standard security practices:

- Secure data transmission (HTTPS / TLS encryption; the live voice call uses encrypted WebRTC media)
- Encrypted at-rest storage
- Secure server infrastructure with access controls
- Regular security monitoring and updates
- Data minimization (we collect only what's needed)
- Apple Health data (iOS only) is stored under your Device ID in your private user space and is not co-mingled with advertising, attribution, or analytics data

However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

## 11. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as needed to provide the App and for legitimate purposes:

- **On-device data:** Remains until you delete the App or clear app data
- **Server data:** Retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after for backup / recovery purposes
- **Wellness logs:** Retained to calculate streaks, scores, and historical insights
- **AI chat history:** Retained to provide continuity across sessions
- **Voice-call audio:** Not retained on our servers; only a text transcript and/or summary of the call is retained with your related logs
- **Sleep snore clips:** Stored only on your device and automatically deleted after a few days; never uploaded to our servers
- **Apple Health summaries (iOS only):** Retained on our servers while your account is active and Apple Health access is granted. If you revoke Apple Health access in iOS Settings, no new data is uploaded; previously uploaded summaries remain until you request deletion. You may delete all Apple Health data stored on our servers at any time using the in-app delete control or by contacting us — this is separate from deleting your wider account
- **Voice transcripts (Deepgram flow):** The audio is not retained after transcription; the resulting text is retained as part of the related wellness log
- **Photos (vision flow):** Not retained on our servers after processing unless you save them with the log
- **Deleted accounts:** Data deleted within 30 days of account deletion request (where applicable)
- **Legal compliance:** Some data may be retained longer if required by law
