Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains what information Weightly — Weight Loss Tracker (iOS) and WOS: AI Health Coach (Android, package com.d73.stillalive) — together, "the App" — collect, how it is used, where it goes, and how you can delete it.
The App is published by Haresh Lakhwani on the Apple App Store and by Blockrevert on Google Play ("we," "our," "us"). Both refer to the same developer.
The short version: the App identifies your device, not you. There is no account, no login, and no email address. We collect what you log — your weight, your meals, your settings — to run the App for you. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads on iOS, and we do not track you across other apps or websites. You can delete everything from inside the App.
BY USING THE APP, YOU AGREE TO THIS POLICY. It forms part of our Terms of Use.
1. What We Collect
1.1 A Device Identifier — Not Your Identity
The App generates an anonymous identifier tied to your device. Every log you make is filed under it. We do not collect your name (beyond an optional display name you may type), email address, phone number, or any government identifier. There is no password because there is no account.
1.2 What You Enter
Profile — sex, age range, height, weight, goal weight, timeline, pace, and preferences (units, language, reminder times)
An optional display name, if you choose to set one
Weigh-ins — every weight you log
Meals — the photographs you take, the foods identified, and the estimated calories, protein, carbohydrates and fat
Optional logs — water, sleep, fasting windows, workouts
Challenges and saved tips — which ones you start, and how they go
Support messages — anything you write in Settings → Contact us
1.3 What the App Generates for You
Your calorie and protein targets, your weight trend, your daily actions, coaching messages, and analysis of your logged days.
1.4 Usage Analytics
We collect device-identified usage analytics through Mixpanel — which screens are used, which features are logged with, app version, device model and OS version. This tells us what to fix and what to build.
You can turn analytics off at any time in Settings. Off means off: once disabled, nothing further is sent
Analytics include your approximate location (country/city), derived from your IP address by Mixpanel — never your precise GPS location, which the App cannot access
Analytics never include the content of your meals, your weight values, or your support messages
1.5 Purchase Information
If you subscribe, Apple or Google processes the payment. We receive subscription status (active, trial, expired) through RevenueCat to unlock premium features. We never see or store your payment card details.
1.6 What We Do NOT Collect
❌ Your precise location — the App never requests location permission and cannot read your GPS. Analytics infer only an approximate country/city from your IP, and turning analytics off in Settings stops that too
❌ Your contacts, calendar, or photos library (the camera photographs only what you point it at; choosing a library photo shares only that photo)
❌ Audio of any kind — the App does not record
❌ Health-platform data — no Apple Health, Health Connect, or Google Fit
❌ Step counts or motion data
❌ Advertising identifiers on iOS — no IDFA, no tracking permission requested, because there is nothing to ask for
2. How We Use Your Information
To run the App — calculate your targets, draw your trend, score your meals, build your plan
To generate coaching — see Section 3
To answer support messages — a real person reads every message sent through Settings → Contact us
To verify your subscription — so premium features unlock on your device
To improve the App — through the analytics described above, unless you turn them off
We do not use your information to advertise to you on iOS, and we never sell it to anyone on either platform.
3. Artificial Intelligence — What Is Sent, and to Whom
Several features work by sending information to third-party AI providers:
Feature What is sent To
Meal photo analysis The photograph, for one request OpenAI, or Google (Gemini)
Coaching, insights, daily actions, tips Recent logs and profile fields — weight, goal, targets, what you logged OpenAI, or Google (Gemini)
Food lookup The name of a food, or a product barcode — nothing that identifies you USDA FoodData Central, FatSecret, Open Food Facts
Never sent to an AI provider: your name or display name, your device identifier, your support messages, your payment details, or your full history.
Not used for training. OpenAI and Google operate their paid API services under terms that exclude API data from model training, and we rely on those terms.
If you do not want this, do not use the meal-scan and coaching features. The weigh-in tracker works without them.
4. Where Your Data Lives
On your device — your logs and meal photos are stored locally first, so the App works offline
On our servers — your profile, logs, meal photographs, coaching, and support messages sync to our backend, hosted on Google Cloud (Firebase/Firestore and Firebase Storage) and our application servers, so your data survives a reinstall and a new phone
Meal photographs are stored on our servers so your food log can show you what you ate. They are deleted — from our servers and your device — when you delete your account
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Access to production data is limited to the developer.
5. Who Else Receives Data
We share data only with the service providers that make the App work, and only what each needs:
Provider Purpose What they receive
OpenAI / Google (Gemini) Meal analysis, coaching See Section 3
USDA FoodData Central / FatSecret / Open Food Facts Nutrition lookup A food name or barcode only
Mixpanel Usage analytics Device-identified events, including approximate location (country/city) from your IP; no log content; off if you disable analytics
RevenueCat Subscription verification Purchase receipts and subscription status
Google Cloud / Firebase Data storage and sync The data described in Section 4
Android only: Google AdMob, Meta, Firebase Advertising and app services in the Android product As described in those SDKs' policies; the iOS App includes none of these ad services
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising on iOS.
6. How Long We Keep It
Your data — for as long as you use the App
After account deletion — erased within 30 days (see Section 7)
Support messages — kept while your account exists, so context isn't lost; erased with your account
Analytics — retained by Mixpanel under its retention policy; sending stops the moment you opt out
7. Deleting Everything
Settings → Delete account. One tap, inside the App, no email needed. It erases from our servers:
Your profile and plan
Every weigh-in, meal, water, sleep, fasting and workout log
Every meal photograph
Your challenges and saved tips
The coaching written for you
Your support messages
— and wipes local data from your device, including your meal photographs. Completion within 30 days.
Uninstalling the App alone removes local data from your device but does not delete server data — use Delete account for that.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Delete — Settings → Delete account, any time
Export — email us and we will send you a copy of your data within 30 days
Analytics opt-out — Settings, one toggle
Reminders — entirely optional; controlled in Settings and in your phone's notification settings
Correct — your profile and goal are editable in the App at any time; any log can be deleted in the Logger
If you are in the EU/EEA, UK, or a jurisdiction with similar laws, these mechanisms are how we honour access, rectification, erasure, and portability requests. For anything not covered by an in-App control, email us (Section 12). If you believe we have not resolved a concern, you may also contact your local data-protection authority.
If you are a California resident: we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we honour deletion and access requests through the controls above.
Legal bases (GDPR): performance of our contract with you (running the tracker you asked for), your consent (AI processing of photos and logs, analytics — both of which you control), and our legitimate interest in keeping the App working and secure.
9. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If we learn we have, we will delete it and terminate the account. If you are under 18, involve a parent, guardian, or doctor before using a weight-loss app.
10. The Two Platforms Are Different
iOS — Weightly. No advertising, no tracking, no ad SDKs. What this policy describes is everything the iOS App does.
Android — WOS: AI Health Coach. The earlier wellness product. It additionally shows ads through Google AdMob (including rewarded ads that earn in-app credits) and includes Meta and Firebase SDKs. Ad providers' processing is governed by their own policies; consent is collected where required.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Changes take effect when posted with an updated "Last Updated" date. For material changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in the App. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept it.
12. Contact
Publisher: Haresh Lakhwani (Apple App Store) · Blockrevert (Google Play) — the same developer
Email: [email protected]
In the App: Settings → Contact us
Response time: 24–72 hours
For privacy requests, tell us the display name you set in the App (if any), which platform you use, and roughly when you started — that is how we locate a device-identified account.
