These Terms are an agreement between you and the developer of Bracket Maker Pro ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app (the "App"), you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

## 1. What Bracket Maker Pro Is

Create and run tournaments: brackets in multiple formats, entrants and rosters, schedules, scores, and live results for spectators. Features may be added, changed, or removed as the App evolves.

## 2. No Account Required

The App works without registration — your data is connected to your device through an identifier Apple assigns, not your name or email. **Settings → Delete my data** ends that connection. Because there's no account, access to your data depends on your device (see Section 9).

## 3. Purchases & Billing

Some features require **Pro**. Two options, prices always shown in the App before you buy, all billing by **Apple** through your Apple ID:

- **Subscription** — renews automatically until cancelled.
- **Lifetime** — one payment, no renewal. "Lifetime" means the lifetime of the App's availability on the App Store.

**Subscription mechanics:**

- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Renews automatically unless cancelled at least **24 hours** before the current period ends; renewal is charged within 24 hours before it ends.
- Manage or cancel anytime: **Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions**. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the paid period ends.

**Also:**

- **Restore** — reinstalled or switched devices? Tap **Restore Purchases** in the App; your purchase follows your Apple ID.
- **Refunds** — handled by Apple at [reportaproblem.apple.com](<https://reportaproblem.apple.com>); we can't issue App Store refunds directly.
- **Price changes** — apply from the next renewal, with Apple's required notice. Paid features may evolve, but we won't strip core paid functionality from users who paid for it without a reasonable alternative.

## 4. Your Content

- Everything you enter — tournaments, entrant and team names, rosters, scores — is **yours**. You keep ownership.
- You grant us only the license needed to run the App: store, process, back up, and display your content — publicly **only when you choose to share** (Section 5).
- You're responsible for what you enter. Entering other people's names means you have the right to do so — especially before sharing publicly.

## 5. Live Sharing

- Publishing makes an event — including entrant names you entered — visible to **anyone with the link or code**. Spectators need no app or account.
- You control it: publish and unpublish anytime; unpublishing removes the public page.
- You're responsible for what you publish and for participants' permission where required.
- We may remove public content that violates these Terms or the law.

## 6. AI Features

AI-assisted features (schedules, event details) can be imperfect — **always review results before relying on them for a real event**. They depend on third-party providers and may change or be temporarily unavailable.

## 7. Acceptable Use

Don't:

- use the App unlawfully, or publish defamatory, harassing, infringing, or harmful content;
- abuse, overload, probe, or disrupt our servers, or bypass security or rate limits;
- reverse engineer, copy, resell, or redistribute the App, except where the law permits;
- misuse the support chat (spam, abuse, automation);
- use someone else's event code to interfere with their event.

We may suspend access that violates these Terms.

## 8. Intellectual Property

The App — design, code, brackets engine, graphics, branding — is ours and protected by law. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it on Apple devices you own or control, per App Store rules. Feedback you send us may be used without obligation.

## 9. Availability & Backups

We work hard to keep the App and sync reliable, but don't promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. For important events, keep your own record of critical results. ## 10. Termination

Stop anytime — **Settings → Delete my data** erases your data from our servers. We may suspend or terminate access for violations. Ownership, disclaimers, and liability sections survive termination. Apple's refund rules govern payments already made.

## 11. Disclaimers

The App is provided **"as is" and "as available"**, without warranties of any kind — express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the App will meet your requirements, or that results (AI output, schedules, standings, shared pages) will be error-free.

## 12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent the law permits:

- We're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including lost profits, lost data, or disputes arising from tournaments you organize.
- Our total liability for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the **12 months** before the claim arose.
- Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights.

## 13. Apple

- These Terms are between you and us — **not Apple**. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support and isn't responsible for any claims relating to the App.
- Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them.
- You confirm you're not in a country under U.S. embargo and not on any restricted-parties list.
- Your use must also comply with the App Store Terms of Service.

## 14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the App evolves. Material changes appear on this page with a new effective date — continued use means acceptance.

## 15. General

If any part is unenforceable, the rest stands. Governed by the laws of the developer's country of residence, except where your country's consumer law applies mandatorily. These Terms plus the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement.

These Terms apply in addition to Apple's [Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA)](<https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/>). Where these Terms give you more protection than the standard EULA, these Terms prevail to the extent permitted.
