## What We Collect & Why
- **Tournament content** — the tournament, entrant, and team names, rosters, scores, and schedules you enter → runs your events, syncs them, restores after reinstall.
- **Support messages** — chats you send us in the app → so we can reply.
- **AI inputs** — text you type into AI features → to generate your schedule or event details.
- **Device identifier** — a random ID Apple assigns to the app on your device; not your name or email → connects your data to you without an account.
- **Device & app info** — platform, version, language, timezone → right reminder times, right translations.
- **Usage analytics** — which features get used, never entrant names or content → improve the app.
- **Diagnostics** — basic crash info → fix bugs.
- **Purchase status** — plan type and expiry, never payment details → unlock what you paid for.
- **IP address** — used transiently for abuse protection → keeps our servers safe; never profiling.
That's everything. Used **only** to run and improve the app — never for advertising, never for sale.
## Service Providers
- **Apple** — all payment processing; we never see billing details.
- **RevenueCat** — validates purchases; receives transaction info + device identifier.
- **Google Firebase** — stores your tournament content, keyed by device identifier.
- **Fly.io** — hosts our servers.
- **Mixpanel** — usage analytics; events + device identifier only.
- **OpenAI** — powers AI features; receives your AI-feature text per request, **never used to train its models**.
Each processes data only on our behalf; none may use it for their own advertising. We don't use Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework because we don't track: `NSPrivacyTracking` is **false** in our App Store privacy manifest.
## Sharing Events
Off by default. Publishing an event makes the bracket — including entrant names **you** entered — visible to anyone with the link or code, with anonymous viewer counts. Unpublish anytime to remove the public page. Make sure participants are comfortable before you share.
## Notifications
Reminders are scheduled **locally on your device**, with your permission — we never send remote push. Turn them off in Settings anytime.
## Deletion, Retention & Security
Data is kept only while you use the app. **Settings → Delete my data** immediately erases your tournaments, rosters, players, support conversation, published pages, and account record from our servers — or email us and we'll do it. Everything travels encrypted (HTTPS/TLS), credentials live in the iOS Keychain, and server access is scoped to this app alone.
## Your Rights
Wherever you live (including GDPR and CCPA regions), you can access, correct, export, or delete your data, and object to processing — contact us in-app or by email and we'll help. We don't sell personal information and will never treat you differently for exercising your rights.
## Children
Not directed at children under 13; we don't knowingly collect their data. Names organizers enter into brackets stay private unless the organizer publishes, and can always be deleted — email us and we'll remove a child's information promptly.
## Transfers & Changes
Our servers are in the United States; your data is processed there with the safeguards above. If this policy materially changes, we'll update this page and its effective date — continued use means acceptance.
